Valerie van Sande

Valerie Van Sande is an experienced professional with a diverse background in public health, customer advocacy, marketing communications, real estate, and project management. Currently serving as a COVID-19 Case Investigator and Contact Tracer at the Santa Barbara County Public Health Department since August 2020, Valerie plays a crucial role in the frontline response to the pandemic, focusing on patient communication and disease prevention. Previously, at Citrix Systems, Inc., Valerie held multiple senior management roles, including overseeing the Global Customer Reference and Advocacy Program and managing communications strategies. Additional experience includes directing real estate for the Hutton Parker Foundation, consulting on construction projects, and leading a startup at ORCA Diagnostics Corporation. Valerie holds a Bachelor's degree in English from Arizona State University and a Marketing Certification from UC Santa Barbara.
