Betty Duong

Betty Duong, Esq. has extensive experience in various leadership roles within Santa Clara County, currently serving as Chief Of Staff for Supervisor Cindy Chavez. Duong has previously held positions such as Program Manager for the Office of the County Executive and Lead Public Information Officer for the Emergency Operations Center during the COVID-19 pandemic. With a strong background in labor law, Duong has worked as Of Counsel at JAW Law Group and Special Counsel at the Legal Aid Society-Employment Law Center, advocating for the rights of low-income workers. Additionally, Duong has managed successful campaigns for affordable housing and has engaged in community outreach through various non-profit organizations. An alumnus of the University of California, Davis School of Law, Duong holds a Juris Doctorate focusing on public interest law and has degrees in Asian American Studies and Multidisciplinary Studies.
