Cindy Chavez

Cindy Chavez serves as a Member and President of the Board of Supervisors for the County of Santa Clara since August 2013. Prior to this role, Cindy Chavez was the Executive Director of Working Partnerships USA from April 2009 to April 2013 and held the position of Executive Officer at the South Bay AFL-CIO Labor Council during the same timeframe. Additional experience includes serving as a Leader in Residence at San Jose State University for a brief period in 2007 and as a City Council Member and Vice Mayor for the City of San José from January 1999 to December 2006. Cindy Chavez holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from San José State University.
