Dave Cortese

Dave Cortese has a robust background in public service and law, currently serving as County Supervisor for Santa Clara County since December 2008. Cortese has held various significant roles, including Attorney of Counsel at van Keulen & van Keulen since 2001, Vice-Mayor of San Jose from January 2001 to December 2008, and General Manager and General Counsel at Cortese Bros/Country Club Villa Properties from 1986 to 2001. Additionally, Cortese served as a School Board Member for the Eastside Union High School District, the largest high school district in Northern California, from 1992 to 2000. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Lincoln Law School and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of California, Davis.
