Michael Tsai

Michael Tsai is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education, transportation, and community service. Currently serving as Chairman of the Board for the Sister Counties Commission, Michael focuses on strengthening ties between Silicon Valley and Taiwan. As the owner of Michael Tsai Education, an educational consulting practice, Michael provides personalized academic guidance to college-bound students. Michael holds a position as a member of the High-Speed Rail Community Working Group and serves as a commissioner on the Sister Cities Commission for Milpitas. In addition, Michael is a graduate student studying High Speed Rail Management at the Mineta Transportation Institute and is the founder of South Bay YIMBY, advocating for housing and transportation reform. Michael also has experience as an investor in startups and has previously served as a board trustee for the Milpitas Unified School District.
