Abigail Mittel

Abigail Mittel has extensive experience in social services, currently serving as HS Program Coordinator II at the County of Ventura since January 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing the RAIN Transitional Living Center for the homeless. Past roles include HS Homeless Services Supervisor, managing social workers while ensuring compliance with regulations, and various positions as a social worker, assessing clients' needs and coordinating services. Prior to this, Abigail worked at Interface Children & Family Services as the Family Violence Shelter & Response Team Lead and Case Management Specialist, providing crisis counseling and case management for domestic violence victims. Earlier experiences include serving as an interim program manager and skills trainer for children with Autism, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Azusa Pacific University.
