Gary Gooden

Gary Gooden is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in information technology and security across various industries. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief Information Officer for the County of Ventura since April 2024, Gary previously held roles including Vice President of Information Technology at Relativity Space and Chief Technology and Security Officer at Seattle Children's. Gary's career encompasses significant positions at esteemed organizations such as Children's Hospital Los Angeles, Amgen, Mattel, and The Walt Disney Company, where responsibilities ranged from managing IT infrastructure and security to delivering innovative technology solutions. Gary holds an MBA in Operations Research from St. John's University and a BSc in Pure & Applied Chemistry from the University of the West Indies.
