Jedidiah Chernabaeff

Jedidiah Chernabaeff, MPA, currently serves as the Public Information Officer for the County of Ventura's Harbor Department, overseeing communications for the 310-acre Channel Islands Harbor since January 2017. Previous experience includes serving as the Public Information Officer for Fresno Unified School District from July 2014 to December 2016, where responsibilities included strategic communications and media relations. Additionally, Chernabaeff held multiple roles at the County of Tulare from September 2007 to June 2014, providing fiscal oversight and serving as the public information officer for various county departments. Early career experience includes working as a journalist for the Visalia Times-Delta, covering education and local government. Chernabaeff holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication & Journalism from California State University, Fresno.
