John Sampang

John Sampang is an experienced administrative professional currently serving as an Administrative Assistant for the Treasurer-Tax Collector at the County of Ventura since January 2020, previously holding the role of Customer Service Representative I/II in the Department of Child Support Services. Prior experience includes positions as a Marketing and Communications Assistant in the Office of the Chief Information Officer and an Administrative Intern in the Letters and Science Information Technology at UC Santa Barbara. Additionally, John worked as a Student Consultant at UCSB Collaborate Student Support Center and as a Student Aid for the Ventura County Area Agency on Aging. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a Minor in Asian American Studies from UC Santa Barbara, completed in 2018.
