Mia Martinez

Mia Martinez serves as the Deputy Executive Officer and Chief Deputy Clerk of the Board for the County of Ventura, a position held since April 2020, where responsibilities include managing the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors Division and supervising staff in clerical and administrative tasks supporting various county boards. Prior to this role, Mia was an Administrative Supervisor for the City of Santa Barbara from September 2012 to April 2020, overseeing a team of seven and managing the logistics of six Brown Act meetings. Earlier experience includes a position as Human Resource/Administrative Manager at GroLink from February 2000 to May 2012, where Mia handled human resources, office management, marketing, royalty administration, and assisted the CEO. Mia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Pepperdine University, earned between 1997 and 1999.
