Ruchita K.

Ruchita K. serves as the Planning Manager for the Housing and State Mandates section at the County of Ventura since February 2013, managing housing element program implementation and developing land use policies and ordinances. With previous roles including Senior Planner and Associate Planner, Ruchita has extensive experience in project management and sustainability analyses. Prior to this, Ruchita worked at Urban Planning Partners and Metropolitan Planning Group, focusing on comprehensive planning and environmental review projects. Ruchita's early career includes positions at Nelson\Nygaard Consulting Associates, the University of Southern California, and various architectural firms in India, where diverse roles spanned architectural design, teaching, and research in urban planning and heritage conservation. Ruchita holds a Master's degree in Policy Planning and Development from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Rachana Sansad's Academy of Architecture.
