Sevet Johnson

Sevet Johnson currently serves as the County Executive Officer for the County of Ventura, a position held since March 2022, previously fulfilling the role of Interim County Executive Officer. During this critical transition period, Sevet Johnson has focused on healthcare expansion, sustainability efforts, and planning for the allocation of America Rescue Plan Act funds amidst the COVID pandemic. Prior experience includes senior roles at the Ventura County Health Care Agency from December 2008 to June 2022, overseeing behavioral health initiatives. Additionally, Sevet Johnson has contributed as an adjunct professor of psychology at both the University of Phoenix and California Lutheran University. Previous military service includes a Finance Specialist role in the California Army National Guard and Army Reserves. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University.
