Sameer Areff

Sameer Areff is a seasoned executive currently serving as Chief Transformation Officer at Coupa Software since December 2023. Prior to this role, Sameer was Chief of Staff and SVP of Global Transformation & Growth Initiatives at Dayforce from May 2021 to November 2023, focusing on enhancing workplace experiences. Sameer’s extensive experience at SAP spanned from May 2007 to April 2021, where roles included Chief Operating Officer for multiple regions and various leadership positions in Value Engineering. Sameer's career began at Accenture as a Manager in the Government Operating Group from February 2002 to April 2007. Sameer holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from Stellenbosch University and a Bachelor of Arts in Law, Political Science, and International Relations from the University of the Witwatersrand.
