Arya Etessam

Arya Etessam, M.Sc, CBCP, serves as the Director of Global Security Risk, Governance, and PMO at Coupang since August 2023, leading enterprise-wide security initiatives and overseeing strategic programs for operational resilience. With extensive experience at Amazon from 2015 to 2023 in various roles including Regional Loss Prevention Manager for Northeast Australia and Senior Risk Manager in Global Security Operations, Arya has been instrumental in developing scalable security frameworks and comprehensive risk assessments. Prior professional experience includes positions as Operations Manager at Xpera Risk Mitigation and Investigation, Security Manager at Donnelly Group, and an impactful role as Project Coordinator for the Olympic Athletes' Village. Arya holds a Master of Science in Homeland Security and Emergency Management with distinction from National University, along with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Criminology and Health Services from Simon Fraser University.
