Hyemin Kang

Hyemin Kang is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in branding, crisis management, and public relations. Currently serving as a Senior Manager for the Global Communications team at Coupang since September 2018, Hyemin launched Coupang Newsroom to centralize corporate content and enhance brand visibility. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Communications Manager for the Seoul Metropolitan Government, where Hyemin enhanced the public image of the city’s tap water, Arisu. Previous positions also include PR Planning and Marketing Manager at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Assistant Manager of PR Communications at Samsung Electronics. Hyemin holds a Bachelor's degree in Media Communications from Dongguk University and has completed Master’s courses in Art Theory at Korea National University of Arts.
