Sam McGowan

Sam McGowan currently serves as Senior Director of Consumables at Coupang, starting in September 2024. Prior to this role, Sam was Vice President of Product Management at Zwift from January 2022 to February 2024, overseeing product development for subscriptions, payments, e-commerce, and mobile applications. From October 2011 to January 2022, Sam held several positions at Amazon, including Head of Product for Amazon Halo, where significant advancements in health technology and device integration were achieved. Sam's earlier experience includes leadership roles at GLC Advisors & Co. and UBS Investment Bank, along with military service as Current Operations Officer for the Naval Special Warfare Group and Nuclear Submarine Officer aboard USS Topeka. Sam holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.
