Simon Zhang

Simon Zhang is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in software development and management. Currently serving as an Engineering Director at Coupang since July 2020, Simon oversees global fulfillment and marketplace listing, as well as seller listing and intelligence. Prior to Coupang, Simon held the position of Senior Software Engineering Manager at ByteDance for a brief period in 2020, focusing on backend services for TikTok. Simon's earlier experience includes significant roles at PayPal as a Senior Software Development Manager, where contributions were made to the AI compute and graph platform, and various positions at Autodesk and SAP Labs as a software engineer. Simon holds a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Nanjing University.
