Prior to Tencent, Yian worked as a Staff Engineer and Team Manager at Alibaba Group, leading the development of an advanced data platform that significantly improved processing times. Yian's career also includes experience as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services, focusing on cloud-based commerce systems, and as a Senior Research and Development Engineer at IPsoft, developing AI-based solutions. Yian holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from Shenzhen University.
