Jan Polack

Jan Polack's work experience includes serving as the Chief Financial Officer for Couples Resorts since November 2018. Prior to this, they held the same role at Caribbean Producers Jamaica Limited (CPJ) from October 2006 to August 2018, and also served as the Chief Operating Officer from July 2008 to July 2014. Before CPJ, they worked as the Business Development Manager at Couples Resorts in 2006. Jan has extensive experience in financial management, having worked as the Financial Controller at Sans Souci Resort & Spa from 1997 to 2006, and at Hedonism II, Negril from 1993 to 1996, where they also served as the Assistant Controller from 1991 to 1993. Jan also held the role of Assistant Controller at Breezes Beach and Golf Resort from 1990 to 1991. Additionally, Jan served as the Assistant Vice President at Preferred Financial Services from 1989 to 1990. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Accountant at Dole Fresh Fruit International, Ltd from 1985 to 1989, and as an Accountant at COOPERS AND LYBRAND PRIVATE LIMITED from 1983 to 1985.

Jan Polack completed high school at Immaculate Conception High School from 1973 to 1979, earning a High School Diploma. Later, from 1979 to 1983, they attended St Leo's College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. In 1986, Jan Polack also obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the State of Florida.
