Vincent Vigneau

Vincent Vigneau serves as a member of the resolution council at the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution (ACPR) since September 2022. Vigneau has been with the Cour de cassation since February 2015, holding the positions of President of the Chamber and Counsellor, Dean of Section. Previous leadership roles include President of the Commission des clauses abusives from May 2018 to September 2022 and President of the Commission des bonnes pratiques professionnelles at the Conseil Supérieur des Messageries de Presse from July 2012 to December 2019. Vigneau has extensive judicial experience, having served as First Vice-President and President of the First Civil Chamber at the Tribunal de Grande Instance de Nanterre and as a Counsellor Referendaire at the Cour de cassation. Vigneau began a legal career as a Judge at the Tribunal de Grande Instance de Nanterre and held various positions at the Cour d'Appel de Rouen and Cour d'Appel de Versailles. Vigneau holds a Maîtrise en droit privé from Université Paris Nanterre and graduated from the École nationale de la Magistrature.
