Fache Derrick L. Miles

Derrick L. Miles, FACHE, has an extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Derrick L. is the Founder and CEO of CourMed®, an innovative healthcare and wellness platform that offers concierge delivery of healthcare products and services, connecting physicians, pharmacists, and RNs for seamless continuity of care. Prior to CourMed®, Derrick served as the Chairman and Founder of TMB Equity Partners, a boutique firm focused on investing in and developing innovative healthcare solutions. Derrick L. has also held positions as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Family Legacy, where they connected American families with orphaned and vulnerable children in Zambia, and as the Vice President of Operations and Logistics at WakeMed Health and Hospitals. In addition, Derrick has worked at Advocate Health Care, Universal Health Services, UF Health Jacksonville, and UAB Medicine, where they held various positions. Throughout their career, Derrick has demonstrated exceptional skills in revenue enhancement, productivity improvement, cost control, systems management, and problem-solving, making him a successful healthcare executive.

Derrick L. Miles, FACHE has a diverse education history that spans several institutions and fields of study. In 1990, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Medical Technology from Bethune-Cookman University. Following their undergraduate studies, from 1996 to 1997, Derrick attended the University of South Florida as a non-degree seeking student, taking prerequisites for a Masters Degree program.

Continuing their education, from 1997 to 1999, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Additionally, from 1998 to 2000, they obtained a Master of Science (MSHA) degree in Health Administration from the same university.

In 2007, Derrick earned a Professional Certificate in LEAN Healthcare from the University of Michigan. Later, from 2016 to 2018, they attended Stanford University, where they completed a Professional Certificate from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business/Stanford University School of Engineering.

Furthermore, Derrick L. Miles holds the certification of FACHE (Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives), which they obtained in 2007 from the American College of Healthcare Executives.
