Mark Proudfoot

Mark Proudfoot has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Mark is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Wecasa since September 2021. Prior to this, they co-founded Course Studio in April 2020. In between, they worked as an Entrepreneur In Residence at Conconi Growth Partners from September 2021 to June 2022. Mark also served as the Managing Director of Destination Think from September 2019 to April 2021. Mark has held multiple positions at Thinkific, including Director of Platform Operations from May 2019 to August 2019, and Director of Agency Partnerships from January 2019 to May 2019. Before that, they worked at the Creative Destruction Lab as the Director of Operations from May 2018 to January 2019, Director (CDL-West) from May 2017 to May 2018, and Associate Director (CDL-West) from September 2016 to May 2017. Mark started their career at KPMG, where they worked as a Senior Associate from July 2011 to July 2013, and as an Associate from July 2010 to July 2011.

Mark Proudfoot began their education by pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) degree at the University of Victoria from 2005 to 2009. During their studies, they also had the opportunity to study commerce at the BI Norwegian Business School in 2008. Later, in 2013, Mark pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at The University of British Columbia, completing it in 2014.
