Tonner Jackson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2016, they started working as a Fellow for The Next Big Thing CO, where they supported and empowered young innovators. Tonner also worked as a Lead Instructor at RED Academy, providing instruction in a leadership role. In 2017, Tonner served as the Director of Growth for Origin (YC W17), a startup accelerator. Tonner then joined Creative Destruction Lab in 2017, where they held multiple roles, including Senior Venture Manager and Associate Director. In 2019, Tonner became an Advisor for Blue Wire Podcasts. Tonner later became the CEO and Co-founder of Course Studio in 2020. In 2022, they founded Wobo. Additionally, Tonner was a co-founder of The Good Stuff, a meal delivery service that was acquired by Glory Juice in 2022.
Tonner Jackson completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Studies and Philosophy at Trinity Western University from 2008 to 2013. Following that, Jackson pursued a Masters of Management in Business Management from UBC Sauder School of Business from 2013 to 2014. In addition, Jackson obtained a certification in Introduction to Web Development from Lighthouse Labs in May 2015.
