Ireena Alphonse is a resilient and dynamic leader with over 17 years of experience in cybersecurity strategy and governance, specializing in risk management and maturity assessments to ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance. Ireena has managed large-scale cybersecurity reviews and governance programs across various industries, including banking, financial services, healthcare, and telecommunications. Currently serving as the Head of Cyber Security & Risk Management for RAK Government, Ireena also holds a position as a vCISO and Security Advisor while pursuing an MBA in Information Technology from the Indian School of Business Management. Previously, Ireena has held roles at American Express, Barclays UK, KPMG, and TataSky Ltd, where they contributed significantly to enhancing security postures and managing risk across organizations.
