Makayla R. is a college administrator and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in marketing and transformational leadership across various industries and mediums. They founded Renegade Business Development (2021–Present) and Indigo Crow Marketing (2019–Present) and previously served as Marketing Manager at Ansafone Contact Centers (2017–2019) and Deputy Director of the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra (2013–2015). They served as Director of Admissions at Casper College in 2025 and also held the role of Assistant Director of Admissions. Their earlier experience includes journalism at Casper Journal (2011–2013) and digital marketing coordination at Casper Star-Tribune (2013), and they hold an AA in Journalism from Casper College (2011–2013), a BA in Communication from the University of Wyoming (2013–2014), a Bachelor's in Applied Social Science from the University of Wyoming (2013–2014), an Executive Certification in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from the University of Notre Dame (2014–2015), and a Master’s Degree in Communication - New Media & Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University (2015–2017).
