Katie Egan is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of CourseArc. Like many professionals involved in the development of learning solutions, Katie Egan started her career as a dedicated teacher. As she progressed in her career as an educator, she realized that she could have the greatest impact on the lives of students by empowering educators to integrate better methods and technologies in their classrooms. Twenty years later, Katie has been responsible for countless successful course development efforts, having a significant impact on students and organizations.

Katie’s interest in designing engaging and high-quality online learning led her to the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), where she earned her Master’s in Instructional Design in 2004.
