Russell Van Sanden

Russell Van Sanden has extensive experience in technical services and operations, currently serving as the Executive Director of Technical Services and Operations and Head of Solution Delivery at Factor5 Software since February 2017, where the focus is on modernizing university curriculum management through a cloud-based solution, CourseLoop. Prior to that, Russell spent eight years at RMIT University in various roles, including Iteration Manager, Senior Project Manager/Product Owner, IT Service Desk Manager, and Deputy Director of Infrastructure Delivery (Acting). During this time, notable achievements included significantly improving customer service metrics, implementing effective knowledge management strategies, and managing a range of high-budget projects while overseeing large teams within the ICT Infrastructure Delivery sector.
