Stephen Lawrence is an established academic and course developer with extensive experience in operations management. Currently serving as a Course Developer at Coursera since January 2021, Stephen has also held a long-standing role as Associate Professor Emeritus at the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business since June 1993. Previous positions include Interim Dean and various faculty roles at the University of Colorado, culminating in teaching the Operations Strategy course in the Executive MBA program. Stephen's experience also features leadership in program development and distance education initiatives. Internationally, Stephen has contributed as a visiting professor across multiple prestigious institutions. Academically, Stephen holds a Ph.D. in Operations Management from Carnegie Mellon University and advanced degrees from Purdue University.
