Loring’s decades of experience in building successful businesses and public organizations from the ground-up is rooted in his deep passion for art, architecture, design and community.

As a practicing ceramic artist, his fundamental perspective brings creative process to entrepreneurial ventures and urban infill transformation in significant redevelopment projects in San Francisco.

As Co-Founder of BuildInc, Loring’s responsibility revolves around the company’s strategic design and investment direction.

Loring is active in many local organizations: Co-Founder of The Lake Forest School (Tahoe City, CA); Board Member of The Green Trust (Dogpatch neighborhood, San Francisco); Advisory Board Member of La Picola Scuola (Italian Elementary School); Public Bikes; and Build Public, a non profit organization contributing to the transformation of public urban realms.
