Dr. Bashir Otukoya currently serves as a Higher Executive Officer at Courts Service, providing legal research support for the judiciary and leading a team of Judicial Assistants. Alongside this role, Dr. Otukoya is a Law Lecturer at Griffith College Dublin, specializing in European Union Law and International Asylum and Immigration Law, and previously held positions as a Senior Lecturer and Assistant Professor at various institutions. Courts Service
The Courts Service was established as an independent corporate organisation on 9th November, 1999 following the enactment of the Courts Service Act, 1998. We employ around 1,000 staff in 40 locations nationwide. Our functions are: -to manage the courts -to provide support services for the judges -to provide information on the courts system to the public -to provide, manage and maintain court buildings -to provide facilities for users of the courts.
