Joey Trahan

Joey Trahan has extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology. Joey started their career as a Network Administrator at First Federal Savings and Loan Assoc. in 1995 and worked there until 2000. Joey then joined Xspedius Communications as a Network & Security Manager and worked there until 2004. Following that, they joined Coushatta Casino Resort and held various roles, including IT Operations Manager from 2004 to 2016, IT Project Manager from 2016 to the present, and currently serving as the Director Of Information Technology since 2022.

Joey Trahan began their education at South Cameron High School, where they received a Diploma in General Studies in 1990. Afterward, they enrolled at McNeese State University from 1990 to 1992, majoring in Computer Science without obtaining a degree. Following this, in 1994, Joey attended SOWELA Technical Community College, where they completed an Associate's Degree in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology in 1995. Finally, in 2014, they returned to McNeese State University and studied Business Administration and Management, General for a year, but did not earn a degree.
