Camille Duchemin

Étudiant Doctorant at Cousin Surgery

Camille Duchemin is currently an Étudiant doctorant at Cousin Surgery, engaged in the physico-chemical characterization and biomechanical and biological evaluation of a functionalized wall reinforcement mesh for the treatment of visceral hernias, as part of a collaborative project involving Cousin Surgery, UMET - ISP, and INSERM U1008. Prior experience includes an internship in biomaterials chemistry at UMET - ISP, where Camille completed a Master’s thesis, and a preclinical R&D internship at Septodont focused on scientific monitoring and updating preclinical documents for regulatory submission. Camille has also conducted research on essential oil encapsulation in multilamellar liposomes during an undergraduate internship and served as a student tutor while supporting fellow students in chemistry at Université de Bordeaux. Educational qualifications include a Master 2 in Medical Devices and Biomaterials from the University of Lille 1, alongside a Master 1 in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Université de Bordeaux.
