Rachel Harrington

Rachel Harrington has had an extensive work experience in various positions. Rachel started their career in 2004 as the Fundraising and Communications Manager at Riders for Health, where they successfully led the fundraising and communications team and significantly increased annual fundraising income. From 2011 onwards, Rachel joined Coutts, initially as the Director of Coutts Institute, where they played a senior role in providing bespoke advice to clients on philanthropy, wealth succession, and family business governance. Rachel then progressed to become the Executive Director and Head of Coutts Institute, responsible for overseeing the institute's operations. Currently, Rachel holds the position of Executive Director at Coutts, leading both the Coutts Family Office and the Coutts Institute.

Rachel Harrington received a BA (Hons) degree in Modern History and English from the University of Oxford, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. In addition, they obtained certifications in Family Business Advising and Family Wealth Advising from The Family Firm Institute - FFI in 2015 and 2014, respectively.
