Mark Smith

Mark Smith, MBA has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Mark is currently employed as a Regional Operations Director at DaVita Kidney Care since September 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Covalent Health starting in 2018. At Covalent Health, Mark held various positions, including Director of Strategic Operations and Analytics, National Revenue Cycle Manager, and Special Project Manager. In these roles, they played a crucial role in implementing strategic objectives and priority-based plans across multiple states, focusing on finance, revenue optimization, and operations.

Before joining Covalent Health, Mark worked at Century Ambulance Service, Inc. for 15 years, where they took on various roles in administrative and clinical management before becoming the Billing Director and Special Project Manager.

During their early career, Mark served in the Florida Army National Guard as a 68-X from 1994 to 2000.

Mark Smith earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Florida State College at Jacksonville. Mark then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business.
