Kurt LaVacque's work experience begins in 2014 as a Server at Pluckers Wing Bar and continues with roles as a Floor Supervisor at VANS SHOES, Warehouse Associate at RAS Distributing, Server at Kerbey Lane Cafe, Bartender at Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas, Stage Hand at Rhino Staging, and GIS Technician at Apex Systems. In 2017, Kurt took a sabbatical to travel across Mexico with their girlfriend. In 2020, they founded Glow LEDs, where they built an e-commerce website, developed products, and created an automated shipping label system. Currently, Kurt is working as a Full Stack Web Application Engineer at Covalent, starting in 2022.
Kurt LaVacque earned a Certificate in Full-Stack Web Development from The University of Texas at Austin from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's degree in Music Production from McNally Smith College of Music, where they studied from 2012 to 2014.
