Luisa Scavo has diverse work experience in various industries. Luisa started their career as a Bookshelver/Processor at Ann Arbor District Library from July 2014 to July 2015. Later, they worked as a Gallery Teacher at Detroit Institute of Arts from February 2016 to December 2017. Luisa then joined Flatiron School as a Technical Coach from October 2017 to December 2017 and later became a Section Lead from December 2017 to February 2019. In 2019, they worked as a Freelance Web Developer under their own business and concurrently as a Software Developer/Technological/Design Consultant at Covalent Resource Group.

Luisa Scavo completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Anthropology from Eastern Michigan University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Later, they pursued further education in the field of Computer Software Engineering, completing a Full Stack Development program at freeCodeCamp in 2017. Additionally, in the same year, Luisa also completed a Full Stack Web Development program at Flatiron School.
