Filippos Kottakis

Filippos Kottakis has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of biology and medicine. Filippos started their career in 2008 as a Post Doctoral Fellow at Tufts Medical Center, where they worked until 2012. During this time, they also held a position as a Post Doctoral Fellow at MGH, Center for Cancer Research.

In 2014, Filippos joined Harvard Medical School as an Instructor in Medicine, and they remained in this role until 2017. During their time at Harvard, they also became a Senior Scientist at Agios Pharmaceuticals in 2017, where they carried out research until 2021.

In 2021, Filippos joined Servier Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Scientist, before transitioning to Roivant Discovery in 2022, where they worked as a Principal Investigator. Later in 2022, they moved to their current position as a Principal Investigator, Biology at Covant Therapeutics.

Filippos Kottakis pursued their higher education at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). From 1996 to 2000, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry. Following this, they continued their academic journey at AUTH, completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry from 2000 to 2007.
