Manan Gandhi has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Manan currently works as a Software Engineer (Ops) at Covariant since 2022. Previously, they worked at Carbon from 2019 to 2021 as a Software Engineer (Tools), where they were responsible for software deployment and integration workflows and led the development of a virtual printer.

Prior to that, Manan founded Keri Studio in 2017, where they served as the Founder and CEO. Manan successfully launched a sustainably manufactured smart light product called Keri Lamps on Kickstarter.

Before starting their own studio, Manan co-founded Farmshelf in 2015 and served as the CTO. Manan participated in the UrbanX accelerator program and raised over $250K in funding. Their role focused on making it easy for everyone to grow their own food, particularly targeting restaurants.

Manan also gained valuable experience at well-known companies such as Pinterest and Qualcomm. At Pinterest, they worked as a Software Engineer (Infra) and played a crucial role in enhancing user data gateways and providing storage solutions for the growth team. During their time at Qualcomm, they worked as a Driver Verification Engineer (Intern) and built a testing framework for asserting power state changes in the SoC.

Additionally, Manan has teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant for Multi-variable calculus and differential equations at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Manan also provided IT customer support during their time at the university.

Early in their career, Manan worked as a Full Stack Engineer at StudyCloud, where they implemented a chat system and registration flow for the learning management system.

Throughout their work experience, Manan demonstrated strong technical skills in languages such as Python, Javascript, C#, and D3.js. Manan has also shown leadership skills in founding and growing companies, as well as a passion for sustainability and smart product design.

Manan Gandhi completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between the years 2010 and 2014. Manan is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University, starting in 2022. Additionally, Manan participated in an Engineering Study Abroad Exchange program at The University of Hong Kong, although the specific dates and field of study for this experience are unknown.
