Ahmad Madkour

Ahmad Madkour is a Senior Scientist at Covaron Advanced Materials since January 2014, focusing on the research, development, and maintenance of formulas while providing technical and business support within the organization. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate Scientist at The Dow Chemical Company, where significant contributions involved optimizing compositions for zero VOC coatings, and reducing production costs for alkyd resins. Ahmad's academic background features a postdoctoral role at the University of Massachusetts Amherst's Department of Polymer Science and Engineering, where advancements in functionalized polymethacrylates for biomedical uses were achieved, along with designing novel polyamines and polyol systems. Additional postdoctoral experience at the University of Massachusetts Amherst's Department of Chemistry and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Alexandria, Egypt complements Ahmad's extensive expertise, bolstered by a PhD in Physical Organic Photochemistry from Michigan State University.
