Michael Hawkins

Michael Hawkins is the President and Chief Investment Officer at Cove Communities, a role held since June 2022. With extensive experience in real estate investment banking, Michael served as Managing Director at KeyBanc Capital Markets from May 2010 to March 2024, and previously held positions as Principal at KBW, Director at Wachovia Securities, and Vice President at RBC Capital Markets. An early career included work as an Associate at Cowen and Company and as a Manager at PwC, where Michael was formerly a licensed CPA. Michael holds an MBA in Finance from Emory University - Goizueta Business School and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business.
