Georges De Macedo

Georges De Macedo is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the insurance sector. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Covéa Insurance and as Administrateur at Groupe Covéa since January 2023 and July 2022 respectively, Georges is also a University Professor at the Institut de Statistique de l'Université de Paris - ISUP since September 2014. Previously, Georges held the position of Group Chief Accounting Officer at SCOR, where responsibilities included quarterly reporting, managing a team of around 60 employees, and leading strategic projects. With prior experience as a Senior Manager at Mazars, executing audits and consulting for international insurance groups, and an educational background that includes an Executive MBA from ESSEC and a Diplôme d'ingénieur from Arts et Métiers, Georges possesses a strong financial and management acumen in the insurance industry.
