Dale Shofner

Dale Shofner is an experienced professional in business intelligence and software engineering with a career spanning over 30 years. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Business Intelligence at Covenant since June 2018, Dale specializes in leveraging data to inform strategic business decisions. Prior to this role, Dale worked at the Tennessee Valley Authority where achievements included designing mobile applications and implementing DEVOPS practices compliant with NERC standards. Additionally, Dale held various IT roles at US Xpress, contributing to software integration and managing EDI projects, among other responsibilities. Dale's career began at Covenant Transport, progressing through various technology and telecommunications positions. Educational background includes an Associate's Degree in Programming from Chattanooga State Community College and earlier studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
