Todd Burchfield

Todd Burchfield has a strong background in security and loss prevention, with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Todd is currently serving as the Vice President of Security and Investigations at Covenant Transport Services, where they oversee and manages all aspects related to security for one of the largest transportation enterprises in the United States. In this role, they are responsible for security within the entire supply chain network, developing policies and procedures to protect high value and/or high-risk freight.

Prior to their current position, Todd worked as a Regional Loss Prevention Manager at Charming Shoppes, where they were responsible for 220 retail locations across five southeastern states. Todd conducted investigations to determine causes of shrinkage and conducted internal theft investigations on a weekly basis.

Todd also served as the Director of Loss Prevention at Party City of Atlanta, where they successfully reduced inventory shrinkage over four consecutive years. Todd developed new inventory controls and implemented the Intensive Care Store Program to further reduce store shrinkage.

Earlier in their career, Todd worked as a Senior Security Manager at Macy's East, where they were responsible for two store locations in the Metro Atlanta Market. Todd conducted monthly audits and managed a team of security detectives in the prevention and apprehension of external theft.

Throughout their career, Todd has demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing effective security measures to protect company assets and reduce losses.

Todd Burchfield attended Kennesaw State University - Michael J. Coles College of Business from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations.
