Emily M. Hoang

Emily M. Hoang has held various roles in the past 8 years, beginning with a Math Tutor role in 2015 while self-employed. In 2016, they were a Data Management Assistant at the University of Washington Tacoma, where they organized and documented sample data sets for statistics instruction, entered data into Excel files, composed Word data dictionaries, and summarized all data sets in a color-coded Excel master spreadsheet. In 2017, they were a Peer Facilitator for a Pre-Calculus Collaborative Learning Seminar at the University of Washington Tacoma, where they led a group-oriented seminar course in pre-calculus and designed worksheets, assisted students, and helped them develop skills in group collaboration and critical thinking. In 2019, they held multiple roles including Cashier at Impact Concessions LLC / Premier Services Group, Sales Coordinator at Harper Engineering Company, and Retail Specialist at The Secret Garden Tea Room & Gift Shop. In 2021, they have been a Software Developer and Software Developer Intern at Covenant Eyes. Additionally, they completed seasonal employment as a Cashier/Supervisor at Hebert Sundries, where they processed transactions, manually counted back change, stocked shelves/displays, took inventory, and maintained a clean workspace.

Emily M. Hoang obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Washington Tacoma in 2018. Prior to that, they completed general coursework at Pierce College at Puyallup from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, they obtained a Code Complete Essentials certification from Construx Software in July 2022.
