Jared Burkeen

Jared Burkeen has a long history of software engineering experience. In 1998, they began their career as a Software Engineer at Amphion, Inc. Jared then moved on to Avail Networks (formerly Cabletron Systems) as a Software Engineer, where they implemented various network protocols such as Frame Relay/ATM Interworking and PPP, as well as integrating a DSL hardware driver into their product line. In 2003, they returned to Ensure Technologies as a Software Engineer, where they developed software for a PC wireless security solution. In 2006, they worked as a Software Engineer Consultant for Ensure Technologies, developing software for a PC wireless security solution and enhancing the server-side of the product to improve performance and scalability. Jared also worked as a Software Engineer for Sycamore Networks (formerly Eastern Research) in 2006, developing embedded software for network communication products. Finally, from 2006 to present, Jared has worked as a Software Engineer for Covenant Eyes, Inc, developing software for internet accountability/filtering service and working in an agile team environment doing test-driven development.

Jared Burkeen graduated from the University of Michigan in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.
