Sam Black

Director of Recovery Education at Covenant Eyes

Sam Black has worked in various roles in the media industry since 1992. Sam began their career as a Political Writer and Photographer for The Daily Herald Columbia, TN in 1992. Sam then moved to Hometown Communications Network as a Reporter and Photographer in 1994. In 1995, Sam worked as an Education Writer for The Shelbyville News and as a Managing Editor for The Publication Department, magazine publishing company. Sam then worked as a Sales and Marketing Director for Good Shepherd Fence Co. from 1998 to 1999. From 1999 to 2007, Sam worked as an Editor for Gannett Newspapers. Finally, they served as the Director of Recovery Education and Vice President of Business Development for Covenant Eyes from 2007 to present.

Sam Black attended Western Kentucky University from 1988 to 1992, where they studied Journalism.
