Delesha Jones has a diverse work experience spanning from 2010 to the present. Delesha began their career as a Childcare Counselor at the Lafourche Parish Juvenile Justice Facility, where they were responsible for the daily care and supervision of residents. Delesha then worked as a Childcare Coordinator and Outreach Program Coordinator at Therapeutic Health Services and Girl Scouts of Western Washington, respectively. In these roles, they developed and implemented curriculum, built collaborative partnerships, and ensured the well-being of the children under their care.

Moving forward, Delesha held positions such as Childcare Counselor at the Associated Recreation Council, Site Supervisor at Kent Youth and Family Services, and Program Manager at Girl Scouts of Western Washington. In these roles, they demonstrated strong leadership and supervision skills, overseeing staff and volunteers, and managing programmatic events and activities.

Delesha's experience in program management continued with their role as Shelter Site Manager at Catholic Community Services, where they supervised the safe operation of a shelter and provided case management to clients. Delesha then took on the role of Lead Case Manager at Covenant House Texas, where they provided case management services and supervised a team of case managers.

In their most recent position at Covenant House Texas as Chief Program Officer, Delesha oversees the operations and quality of all programs and services. Delesha ensures that programs have the necessary infrastructure and participates in data collection and analysis to improve the quality and impact on youth. Delesha also collaborates with CHI on key performance indicators and data reports. Throughout their career, Delesha has consistently demonstrated a commitment to improving the lives of young people and utilizing data-driven approaches to achieve positive outcomes.

Delesha Jones completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 2000 to 2005. Delesha also attended the Family Engagement Summer Institute at Harvard University in 2015. Delesha has obtained several certifications in various fields throughout the years.
