Kevin van Buskirk

Kevin Van Buskirk has diverse work experience in various roles and organizations.

From 1998 to 2000, they worked as a Youth Counsellor at Nechacko Valley Community Services.

Starting in 2002, Kevin Van Buskirk joined Covenant House Vancouver, where they held multiple positions. Kevin initially served as the Manager of Community Support Services until 2017 when they were promoted to Associate Director. Later, they became the Manager of the Crisis Program and subsequently the Director of Housing Support. Kevin is currently with this organization in the Director of Housing Support role.

Between 2012 and 2021, Kevin Van Buskirk served as a Board Member for the Homelessness Services Association of BC.

From 2002 to 2010, they were involved in athletics at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.

Overall, Kevin Van Buskirk has gained extensive experience in management, community support services, counseling, and board membership throughout their career.

Kevin Van Buskirk received an Effective Management and Leadership Certification from the Justice Institute of Britsh Columbia in 2011. Kevin also holds a degree in Criminal Justice from Lake Superior State University, completed between 1988 and 1992.
