Melissa Honabach

Melissa Honabach has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Melissa is currently the Director of Operations at Covendis, a position they have held since August 2020. Prior to that, they worked as Chief Marketing Officer/Consultant at GrowthOps starting in March 2020. In January 2020, Melissa served as a Mentor at Techstars for a short period. From September 2019 to February 2020, they worked as a Business Consultant at Covendis.

Melissa's previous roles include Senior Vice President of Marketing, Communications & eCommerce at the Arthritis Foundation from April 2017 to September 2019. Melissa led a cross-departmental project to develop a patient-centric digital experience targeting millions of individuals. Before that, they held positions at Patientco, where they were Vice President of Operations from December 2016 to April 2017, and Executive Director of Customer Experience from December 2014 to November 2016.

Prior to their time at Patientco, Melissa worked at Assurant where they were responsible for the Assurant Home History Reports Lead role, conducting research and developing a comprehensive product and user experience for intelligent real estate transactions.

Melissa also co-founded and served as COO of Dragonfruit Studios, LLC, a content studio specializing in creating independent productions and marketing programs from January 2008 to December 2013. Melissa has extensive leadership experience, having served as the Executive Vice President of Global Interactive Marketing at Nurun from April 2004 to December 2007 following the acquisition of Ant Farm Interactive, where they were the COO from May 1999 to March 2004.

Melissa Honabach completed their education at two institutions. From 1988 to 1992, they attended Bucknell University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Following that, from 1995 to 1997, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
