Doug Merriman

Doug Merriman has a strong background in executive leadership and operations management. Doug currently holds multiple titles at CoventBridge Group, including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and President. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the company's operations and leading its post-merger transformation.

Prior to joining CoventBridge, Doug served as the Chief Operating Officer at CoventBridge Group from 2017 to 2021. During this time, they successfully led the post-merger transformation of the company, focusing on high-performance customer service, employee care, and quality. Doug also played a key role in strategic expansion efforts.

Before CoventBridge, Doug was the Executive Vice President of Operations at EMSI, where they led the operations division and provided risk adjustment services for health plans across the United States.

Earlier in their career, Doug served as the Chief Operating Officer at ICS|Merrill, where they led the transformation of the largest private investigation company in the U.S. Doug also held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Cypress Property & Casualty Insurance Company, where they were responsible for various departments and implemented initiatives to improve performance.

At Warranty Corporation of America, Doug served as the Chief Operating Officer, overseeing all company operations and leading the acquisition and integration of four acquired companies. Doug also improved operating margin through strong leadership and a focus on continuous improvement.

Doug Merriman attended The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business from 1978 to 1982. Doug obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a major in Business Administration and Management, General. In 1992, Doug Merriman obtained a certification as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter from The American Institute.
